Descripción : This research work presents the results of a socioepistemological analysis about the construction of didactical speech around the point of inflection idea. In to the Variational Language and Thinking research program, interested on the thinking process around the mathematics of change, our research work analyze associated difficulties with the second derivative studies and the transit between different derivatives orders. Particularly, this work states the point of inflection as an argument to favor this transit between different derivatives orders. From our perspective, the Socioepistemology, wich vision includes cultural and social variables as fundamentals in the construction of mathematical knowledge; this research incorporates a study of original didactic texts, recovering mathematical information form the first scientific diffusion texts. Additionally, we analyze the mathematical portion of our research problem from an analytical perspective: the theoretical construction of the inflection point. At the same time, we present an epistemological study of the contemporary texts books in order to, with all the evidence, have a first didactic proposal. This socioepistemological approach of investigation, has allowed to sustain a theoretical argument called “Inverse Didactic Transposition”, formulated from our work evidence.
