Abstract

The goal of this paper is to present arguments that the use of computational tools has become part of the culture of humanity, as part of a historical and cultural process that marks a new stage in its development. First, we present the most important aspects from a historical point of view; then we show some examples of use to illustrate its potential in science and education. Finally, we propose some fundamental elements with respect to the relation between creation and the use of computational tools and the thought of humanity.
