EFECTO DE FORMACIÓN ENDOMICORRIZA VESICULO ARBUSCULAR EN EL CRECIMIENTO DE PLANTULAS DE Agave victoriae-reginae T. Moore.

Abstract

The Noa (Agave victoriae-reginae T. Moore), endemic plant that is in danger of extinction, has commercial importance for being an ornamental, like many other species of Agave. Mycorrhizae play an important role in the physiology of plants because they increase the ability to absorb nutrients and improve plant nutrition in soils of low fertility. This study was performed to evaluate the development of Noa plants inoculated with different types endomycorrhizae (endomycorrhiza native commercial endomycorrhiza and a witness). Mycorrhizal treatment which gave commercial was better result as to the width of the sheet variables, the plant canopy, leaf number, fresh weight of root, stem fresh weight and dry weight of the stem. The length of the leaf and root dry weight were stimulated by the native and commercial endomycorrhiza.
