dc.descriptionWe presented a new method for determining the thermal diffusivity in opaque solids by means of the phase analysis of the photoacoustic signal at low modulation frequencies. This method is tested by means of the determination of the thermal diffusivity of some solids and we show its importance in materials with high diffusivity values as metals, some semiconductors, and materials with thickness is small.-
