This paper presents the results obtained for torax studies of both computed axial tomography (CT) and helical tomography (HT) in Mexico using home-made LiF:Mg,Cu,P+PTFE thermoluminescent dosimeters. Results showed that, using similar conditions of irradiation and slice (pitch = 1), do not exist significant differences between the absorbed dose in the phantom due the two types of tomography scanners used.-
