El Sistema Integrado de Gestión de calidad del Centro de Investigación e Innovación Tecnológica del IPN. Una experiencia sistematizada de la gestión escolar

Abstract

The present thesis represents the experience systematized of the school management that carries out the Center of Research and Technological Innovation of the National Polytechnic Institute specifically in the Programs in Technology Advanced (PTA) that offers to the society and they are recognized for the CONACyT as postgraduate courses of quality. This commitment with the quality carried to the CIITEC to establish a System Integrated of Management of Quality (SIG) that facilitated the school management that carries out the department of postgraduate course to the Mastery in Technology Advanced and to the Doctorate in Technology Advanced by means of three school procedures: admission of students, school history and obtaining of degree. This work had as an general objective to systematize the experience of the department of postgraduate course in the determination of the Indicators of School Management, like support to the Programs in Technology Advanced that they are recognized by the PNPC. The methodological strategy that served as framework to establish the compliance of this general objective is the model CIPP by its acronym in English of the phases of the Model; Context (contexto), Input (entrada), Process (proceso) and Product (producto) which was proposed by Stufflebeam and Shinkfield to ends of the decade of the years 80´s. Trough this analysis was obtained descriptive and useful information on the planning, execution and the impact of the programs of postgraduate course that offers the CIITEC. In the phase I the College of Professors and the Department of postgraduate course delineated the information obtained of the context in which they operated the Programs in Technology Advanced establishing objectives and strategies that satisfied the criteria of evaluation of the CONACyT. In the phase II the department of postgraduate course obtained information thrown by the operation of the mastery and the doctorate by means of data processing tools and measuring instruments that facilitated the control and analysis of the indicators of school management. Among the main conclusions to that arrived in the present investigation that lasted near three years with information of four (2007-2010) the following can be mentioned. • That the Norm ISO 9001:2008 in the School Management can apply successfully, nevertheless these results depend on the ability of the responsible to identify the exactable elements of the norm in the educational environment. • That the SIG contributed to the development of a system of school history by means of hyperlinks that facilitated the identification of the students by generation cohort, by school cycle, in recess, in drop, and graduates. Finally it is emphasized that the department of postgraduate course attends in prompt form the requests required by the PNCP in a transparent way, efficient and effective.
