INCORPORACIÓN DE LOS PRINCIPIOS DE SUSTENTABILIDAD EN LA VIVIENDA URBANA DE LA REGION SURESTE DEL PAIS.

Abstract

This paper presents the results of an investigation, whose main focus is housing and sustainability principles are incorporated in it. The origin of the term sustainability, its evolution and how this concept is involved in housing are an integral part of this document. Southern Mexico has been characterized by living in a social gap and consequent housing and that are worthy issues that relate to the social problems of Mexico today. To solve a part of environmental degradation Mexicans living housing in addition to providing a safe space for people who live there must also be sustainable. The current situation in the home, their problems in Mexico and the lack of urban areas where human settlements may exist due to overcrowding in major cities of southeastern Mexico are a big problem for society in our country. Develop housing in the main activities of human development. The construction industry and especially the housing has to join the inertia to adopt ideas that support both sustainable economy that is important in life, family but especially not over-consume natural resources. The homes today are adopting sustainability principles detailed in this thesis, for in them is part of the solution to environmental problems afflicting Mexicans living and humanity today. If these principles are used consistently in the house for future generations to have a level of life that is similar to that which humanity now and in as far as possible to improve. Once identified and defined the principles of sustainability, these are incorporated in two houses with different characteristics and that in turn cover the needs of two social strata of families living in southeastern Mexico. By adopting the principles of sustainability in housing, environmental benefits are immediate, since from the construction process and life existing concepts that apply and benefit the natural environment assuming that the principles of sustainability that are used useful for a better family life and the environment.
