ANÁLISIS DE UNA CIMENTACIÓN COMPENSADA TIPO CAJÓN EN SUELO COMPRESIBLE POR MEDIO DEL MÉTODO DE LOS ELEMENTOS FINITOS

Abstract

In this thesis a numeric evaluation of mechanical-structural response of a compensated foundation box type embedded in a type IIIA soil is given, subjected to different solicitations of static and dynamic loading, simulating different soil limiting conditions. To carry out the simulations, different modeling based on the finite elements method were build and analyzed, and different obtained responses were compared. To develop this investigation the next strategy was established: · Analysis of a compensated foundation in compressible soil adopting a standard process of engineer calculation · Construction of geometry an meshing generation of the box type foundation in the program Gmsh, for its later analysis in Code Aster · Adaptation/validation of the constitutive functions of materials · Definition of different limit conditions for each modeling · Quasi-static analysis linear and not linear and linear dynamic of each modeling · Comparison and discussion of results
